***Weather Closing Information***
Spencer County Public Library’s Inclement Weather Policy stipulates the library does not always close when the schools close for bad weather. We monitor both the road conditions and the weather forecast to determine whether to open late, close early, or close for the day.
We use the Spencer Magnet, Facebook, Twitter, and WAVE 3 TV to announce any changes in our regular hours. When in doubt, call 477-8137 to confirm our hours before you venture out during questionable weather.

Friends of the Library is a separate non-profit organization that exists to support the library. Click here for more information.
